Hello,

It’s a favourite Uncensored ritual. At the start of every show, I deliver a monologue straight to camera.

Why? Because it allows me to gather my thoughts and frame the terms of the debate that will follow, no matter how crazy it gets. It’s a way to stake out my position and let the internet know exactly where I stand.

As Uncensored subscribers, you get to know that before anyone else.

Read on for the monologue that will open tonight’s show. I haven’t even recorded it yet, so remember that the final version might be a bit shorter… And become a paid subscriber if you want to access future monologues ahead of time.

Cheers,

Piers

The Monologue

Meghan Markle’s 82-year-old father is a paedophile who hoarded child porn at his home in the Philippines. That is the staggering claim made by his son Thomas Markle Junior - now subject to criminal investigation.

Finding out your own father could be a child abuser must be gut-wrenching beyond comparison.

It’s hard to imagine anything worse for a daughter.

And on a human level, Meghan Markle has my sympathy and that of many other people.

But it’s precisely because the allegations against her father Thomas are so sinister that accountability matters.

That applies to Meghan and Harry - and above all to law enforcement in multiple countries.

We need to know who knew what - and when. And we need to know soon. Speculation is only hurting the alleged victims.

Here is what we do know. Allegations of paedophilia against Thomas Senior were first made in 2019 by his ex-wife Roslyn, who wrote directly to London’s Met Police. She claims that Thomas Senior told her he liked to visit Southeast Asia “because 12-year-olds are legal there”.

The Met Police shared this letter with Harry & Meghan but they did not share it with authorities in Mexico, where Thomas Senior was living, or in the US where he remains a citizen.

And it certainly seems extraordinary that no real action was taken over claims a Prince’s father-in-law is a paedophile.

Six years later, in 2025, Meghan wrote to her father to break off all contact and announce that he would never meet his grandchildren.

Meghan says she told her father that she knew he’d abused young girls and that authorities were aware.

Thomas Senior was in hospital in the Philippines at the time after a leg amputation. The handover of Meghan’s letter was filmed, she says, to remove any doubt that he’d received it.

What we don’t know is the contents of that letter. Or why Meghan now felt compelled to make the allegations directly. Why then? What was the trigger?

Meghan took a lot of flak at the time for the way she was treating her father as he lay sick.

She’s taken a lot of flak over the years for cutting her father out of her life altogether.

But Harry and Meghan have always cited his collusion with tabloid newspapers as the reason for this breakdown, including in their Oprah interview.

Harry then said in their Netflix show that he “shouldered” the burden because - if it wasn’t for their marriage - she’d still have a dad.

In his memoir, Spare, Harry blamed the tabloids for corrupting an elderly vulnerable man.

All of this played out in the six years between the first time they saw allegations he was a paedophile and the latest, new allegations by Thomas Junior.

Did they simply not really believe the claims made in the 2019 letter?

What changed before Meghan wrote the 2025 letter? And what exactly did she accuse him of?

Above all, did anybody involved - and this applies chiefly to law enforcement at every level - allow a suspected child abuser to remain free to offend?

The situation demands full transparency - not a murky soap opera which plays out only in the press.
